August 9, 2010 Greetings Pearl Street Brew Lovers!
It's that time of year when breweries bring out their Oktoberfest brews, and Pearl Street is no exception. Come party with us as we celebrate the release of this year's edition of our ever popular Perlenstrasse Oktoberfest - an authentic German Oktoberfest, Perlenstrasse emulates its famed brethren in Deutschland with a mild, slightly nutty malt flavor that gives way to a crisp, clean finish, a beautiful pale orange color, and traditional strength (6.0%ABV).- it slams Sam's, shoots down the Baron, and you'll not be "Spaten" a better one! The party begins at 5:30pm on Thursday, August 19th.
There will be a limited free sampling, free finger-food buffet, and ½ price pints of Perlenstrasse for the duration of the party, ending at 7:30pm. Bring in a copy of this email and receive a special discount on one pint of any PSGB beer!
Cheers! Phil Internicola Brewmaster, Pearl Street Grill & Brewery July 13, 2010 Greetings Pearl Street Brew Lovers! You’re invited to join us at the Pearl Street Grill & Brewery on Thursday, July 22nd at 5:30pm for another New Beer Release Party and Homebrew Competition Awards Ceremony. The featured beer is Nickel Town American Brown, an American Brown Ale in the tradition of the old pre-acquisition Pete's Wicked Ale. Nickel Town opens with a subtle, palate-pleasing foundation of roasted malt featuring hints of chocolate and caramel, followed by a well-hopped finish leaving a sharp, clean impression. At 4.7%ABV, Nickel Town is great for warm-weather sessions! Our winning home brewer is Kate Dee, who outscored six other highly competitive entries to take First Place. She is joined by Second Place finisher Dave O'Connor, and Terry Felton in Third. There will be a limited free sampling, free finger-food buffet, and ½ price pints of Nickel Town Brown for the duration of the party, ending at 7:30pm. Bring in a copy of this email and receive a special discount on one pint of any PSGB beer! Cheers! Phil Internicola
May 12, 2010 Thurday, May 20, 2010 we will be hosting another Beer Release Party. Please join us from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in our newly refurbished Street Brawler's Back Alley (Cellar) Bar and help us celebrate the release of our fair-weather brews –
Lune’ d’bleu – The ideal beer for those hot summer nights on the patio, this great Belgian Witbier (White Beer) is a real thirst-quencher. Based on the recipe submitted for the winning brew in the first PSGB-sponsored brewing competition, Lune’ d’bleu is light and effervescent with a subtle spicy character of orange peel, coriander and ginger. At a moderate 4.8%ABV, it’s the perfect choice for steamy summer sessions! Summer Lager - A light, refreshing brew with a mild but notable malt presence and palate-pleasing balance. This low alcohol (4.07%ABV) brew finishes crisp and clean - another great summer cooler! Both beers will be available for a limited free sampling and 1/2 price pints for the duration of the party. A free finger-food buffet will also be served. Bring in a copy of this announcement and your first pint is on us! C'mon Brew Lovers, let's party at the Pearl! Cheers! Greetings Pearl Street Brew Lovers!
For those of you who own FreshKegs and have been unable to get them cleaned and filled due to the "temporary" indisposition of your original supplier, your ordeal is over! Pearl Street Grill & Brewery now has the ability to clean and fill FreshKegs with any of the 14 different House Brews we have available. Currently, the cost for a three (3) gallon fill is $25 plus tax. Here are the rules - You must email me at this address in advance and make an appointment to have your FreshKeg cleaned & filled, and I will confirm back to you. You must be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes if we are brewing or otherwise critically engaged when you arrive. We will clean and fill your FreshKeg and immediately return it to you - we do not have FreshKegs of our own and cannot "swap". We will make every effort to effect minor repairs to your FreshKeg as needed, but make no guarantees as to our ability to fix any given item and will not be responsible should any repair performed at your request prove ineffective. We will be happy to order FreshKegs and FreshKeg parts for you, advance payment will be required. Any questions you may have may be directed to me at this email address.
BE OUR FIRST FRESHKEG FILL CUSTOMER AND RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE FOR A COMPLEMENTARY SECOND FILL!!!
Cheers!
